Series: Values Along the Journey

Strangely Warmed

May 30, 2021 | Rev. Ramiro Rodriguez

Passage: Psalms 32:1-5

Welcome to worship on this Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.

On our journey of life and faith, it is vitally important to remember we are forgiven by God’s grace and that we forgive others as unconditionally as God has forgiven us. In today’s service, Rev. Ramiro Rodriguez looks at Psalm 32:1-5 and Colossians 3:12-15 and considers how our words and actions can cause unintentional harm to others. He encourages us to take on compassion, kindness, and humility outlined in Colossians to help us live in grace as we focus on God’s path ahead of us.

Also in worship, Rev. Molly Hayes, Lead Pastor at Church of the Good Shepherd, and Rev. Kay Lancaster, Associate Pastor at First UMC Arlington. Music Director, Sean Hale sings “Holy, Holy Holy! Lord God Almighty” & “Grace Greater than Our Sin”, with Sandy Perdue, Music Director at Church of the Good Shepherd on piano.
