Scholarships

We believe children should have the opportunity to attend summer camp and experience God's love, regardless of financial situation. Scholarships opportunities are available for each camp - to apply, contact the church office at 817-274-2571.

Health & Safety

FUMCA Kid’s Ministry is gearing up for a summer of fun with limited capacity for in-person programming. We are still committed to providing excellent online opportunities for your children throughout the year in an effort to serve all our families.

In order to create safe environments for your children to encounter Jesus, you will notice some things will look a little different as we re-gather. Here are a few important things you should know:

  • Registration will be REQUIRED to attend. There are no walk-up registrations. Pre-registration for camps is a must.
  • Camp will open 15 minutes before the program begins – please do not arrive early. Please pick up on time when camp has ended.
  • We ask that only ONE caregiver walk with children during drop off and pickup.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering and exiting the area. Hand sanitizing stations are available around the campus.
  • Please keep personal belongings at a minimum -- packing just necessary items needed for the day.
  • Drinking fountains will be closed. Please send your child with plenty of water to drink. We can refill a reusable water bottle for your child.
  • Doors will be propped open when possible.
  • Classroom capacities will be limited.
  • Social distancing in all hallways and common spaces will be observed. Classroom activities will be designed for social distancing.
  • Spaces will be sanitized between use.
  • Health screening will be completed upon check-in for camp.
  • If you or your child are in a high-risk category, or if you or a family member do not feel well, please stay home.
  • Follow all social distancing guidelines -- help your child refrain from hugging or touching anyone who is not a family member.
  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently.
  • Keep your phone visible and set to vibrate in case we need to contact you for any reason. Confirm upon check-in that we have your current cell phone number on file.
  • Talk with your child ahead of time about these safety protocols. If your child is unable to comply with these protocols, you will be contacted to pick your child up from programming immediately.

Thank you for helping us keep things safe so that we can enjoy being together again!

Volunteer

Our camps wouldn't be the same without our amazing volunteers! We invite you to join us as a camp volunteer this summer - there are many opportunities for you to share your gifts! All volunteers must complete the MinistrySafe process to be able to volunteer. For more information, contact Betsy Spencer.
