Summer Camps
STEAM CAMP
Cost: $80
Dates: Monday-Friday, June 19-23, 2023
Time: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Grades: K-6
Join us as we explore and learn through science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. We will explore what it means to Be Changemakers through multiple forms of technology and science, and then we will share our experiences of God with others. For campers entering K-6th grades. Campers will need to pack a lunch each day.
MUSIC CAMP
Cost: $100
Dates: Monday-Friday, June 26-30, 2023
Time: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Grades: 1-7
Come join us as we learn and have a musical in a week. Children entering grades 1–7 in Fall 2023 will experience singing, worshiping, the arts, and making memories, culminating in a presentation of the musical for friends and family. Pack a lunch and join us for a week of musical fun!

Vacation bible camp (vbc)
Cost: Free
Dates: Monday-Friday, July 17-21, 2023
Time: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Grades: 4 years old-6th grade
4-year-olds through 6th graders are invited to attend a fun week of Vacation Bible Camp where we will learn Bible stories, play games, sing songs, explore science, create arts and crafts, and have a ton of fun. Come join the fun as we are called together to serve God through Hero Hotline.
family swim night
Date: Friday, July 21, 2023 | 7:30-9:30 pm
We conclude our VBC week with a night of swimming at Randol Mill Aquatic Center. Bring your family and enjoy the end of a great week. The event is free and all are welcome!
SPECIAL NEEDS Vacation bible camp (vbc)
Cost: Free
Dates: Sunday, July 23, 2023
Time: 5:30-7:30 pm
Open to Ages 4+
Join us for Vacation Bible Camp designed for those with learning differences of all ages from 4 years old and above. This year's theme is Hero Hotline: We Are Called Together to Serve. Each participant will be assigned a volunteer for the evening to help guide them through the activities that meet their abilities and interest. Activities will include arts, crafts, music, storytime, and gym games through which they will experience the love. Contact Rev. Kay Lancaster for more info on attending or volunteering.

Mission camp
Cost: $125
Dates: Monday-Friday, July 31-August 4, 2023
Time: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Grades: 1-6
Children entering 1st-6th grades in the Fall of 2023 will spend half of the day in mission work and the other half of the day in related field trips and fun activities. We’ll be exploring how we are Called to Be through different professions and ways to share God’s love in everyday life. The best week of the whole summer! Campers will need to pack a lunch each day.
Glen Lake Camps
FUMCA will be taking our registered campers down to Glen Lake Camp in the summer. There are multiple camps for you to choose from.
The camps with the ** beside them are ones where we will be heading down to camp to deliver and pick up campers.

FUMCA Children’s & Youth Ministries will pay half of your camper’s registration fee for summer camp. You MUST let us know when you register your child so that we can pay our portion and keep you up to date on any summer camp news.

Preschool Playdays
Dates: Wednesdays, June 14, July 5, July 12, July 26
Time: 9–11 am in Hagler Hall
Ages: 1–5 year olds & their grownups
Join us for Preschool Playdays on Wednesday mornings this summer. We’ll explore God’s big world through play and activities and movement. Grown ups stay with their preschoolers for a fun morning.
Scholarships
We believe children should have the opportunity to attend summer camp and experience God's love, regardless of financial situation. Scholarships opportunities are available for each camp - to apply, contact the church office at 817-274-2571.
Volunteer
We are gearing up for a summer of fun in Children’s Ministries! We would love your help this summer to make this an adventure the kids will never forget. You can sign up to volunteer by filling out the volunteer registration form online at the link below.
