What to Expect
Parking
Guest parking spots as well as handicap and senior parking are available in our main parking lot, on North St. Additional parking can be found just a few steps across from the Sanctuary on Center St.
Service Times
We have two services each Sunday: A contemporary service at 9:00 am in the Great Hall and a traditional service at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. Both services are live streamed. Sunday school classes meet during the 10:00 am hour.
What to Wear
From flip-flops to suits, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress up, we're just happy to see you!
Where Do I Take My Kids?
Sunday school classes & nursery are available on Sunday morning for kids of all ages. Learn more by clicking the icon above.
Worship Style
In worship, we seek to experience the presence of God through our engagement with scripture, music, prayer and sacraments. Our services include a variety of music, from traditional hymns with a choir & pipe organ, to contemporary worship led by our praise band, Center 313.
Teaching Style

HOW DO I LEARN MORE AND GET CONNECTED?
If you are interested in learning more about First UMC Arlington and how you can become connected with others in this community of faith, we invite you to contact one of our pastors or attend a First Steps class. If you come to worship with us, please fill out one of our connection cards located in the pew back. You can drop this in the offering plate or bring it by the church office after service. (QR codes are also available to fill out on online)

Membership means commitment. Becoming a member at First UMC Arlington involves your commitment to growing as a Christian disciple through your participation in the mission and ministry of this church.

HOW TO JOIN
You may join our church through:
- Profession of faith and baptism
- Transfer from another United Methodist church
- Transfer from another Christian denomination
When you are ready to join, please fill out a “Join our Church Family” form (located in information shelves around the building) and return it to the church office. You can also fill out the form online at the link below.

Kids
Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by: building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word. The kid's ministry is open to all children, from newborns to sixth graders.
Youth
At First United Methodist Church of Arlington we seek to create an environment where youth can grow in their faith and in community with one another. Our goal is to create a space where youth from different ages, races, and backgrounds can come together and explore their faith in a loving and grace filled environment.
Adults
Our church offers a vibrant and diverse set of opportunities to bring people together, no matter what stage of life you're in. Questions are encouraged and we seek answers together. New small groups, Bible studies and outreach opportunities are continually offered.
At Home
Even though we can't be connected in person, we can be connected to God's grace and God's love, and we can stay connected to each other as a church family during the next weeks - through phone, email, letters, and social media. Our staff is creating and posting daily content on our social media pages, including online devotionals, worship, videos, and more.
