Engaging Growth

Series: Values Along the Journey

Engaging Growth

June 20, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: Acts 2:42-47

Welcome to worship! In today’s message, Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes explores intentional faith development as an opportunity for growth. Being a life-long learner and constantly striving to change and grow is synonymous with the idea that we are all journeying on God’s path. As described in the passages in Acts 2:42-47, we realize we cannot stay in one place and make progress on our journey, nor can we stop learning and growing and be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Join us as we seek to chart a path of life-long growth and development in the image of Jesus Christ.

Also in worship, Rev. Molly Hayes, Rev. Kay Lancaster and musical selections “O Church of God, United” and special music “Forward Through the Ages” by Arthur Sullivan, presented by Sean Hale, Director of Worship and Music, and Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg on piano.
