No matter what kind of vacations we take and no matter how great they are, we must return home at some point. We must get back into the routines of life, but we do not have to leave the gifts and learnings from vacations behind. We can allow ourselves to be transformed by the vacation experiences that we have in order to live each day with the gifts that God desires for us to have.

We often think of vacations as time away from our normal routines and places, but what if vacation this summer could be time away from those things that keep us from being the people that God desires for us to be. What if we can take the vacations we really need, not just the vacations that we enjoy?
