We must be willing to take a vacation from the self-sufficient and independent priorities of our culture and realize the gift of community and dependence on God and one another. Taking a vacation from doing everything by ourselves and having to be self-reliant when we were created to rely of God and each other, is a vacation we all really need.

We often think of vacations as time away from our normal routines and places, but what if vacation this summer could be time away from those things that keep us from being the people that God desires for us to be. What if we can take the vacations we really need, not just the vacations that we enjoy?
