The Journey Continues

Series: Journey to Christmas

The Journey Continues

December 26, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: Matthew 2:1-15

This Sunday, in "The Journey Continues", Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes reminds us that Christmas is not the end of the journey. Jesus is born unto us and now we get the opportunity to continue the journey of sharing God’s love with the world. We can do this by bringing our very best gifts to God in worship, by looking for where God is calling us to journey next, and by loving the world around us the way that God has first loved us in Jesus Christ. This week's scripture is Matthew 2:1-15

Series Information

As we look ahead to celebrating Christmas, we realize that the greatest journey ever taken was God’s journey to be born among us in the person of Jesus Christ. God has been so willing to do anything to come and be with us and show us that we are never alone. How can we learn about our journey, as we look at the journeys connected to the first Christmas, so that we might be more connected to God’s love, presence, and grace this Christmas season?
