Series: Recipes for Repentance
Re-Orientation
April 01, 2022 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes
Passage: John 12:1-8
Welcome to Table Worship! This weekly online service is a time of worship where we can gather to read scripture, pray together, and reflect on what God is calling us to do as we gather around God's table. In addition to this time of online worship, we invite you to join us in person or via live stream on Sundays at 9 am in the Great Hall and 11 am in the Sanctuary.
This week, Pastor Chris and Pastor Kay look at how sometimes things aren’t quite what they seem. Jesus reminds us that there is not a “right way” to practice our faith, but it’s a constant journey of reflecting and seeing our world through the eyes of Christ. Our scripture is John 12:1-8.
Baking Challenge: Make something to give to someone else.
Series Information
Repentance is a key aspect of the Christian life, and the season of Lent is a season of reflection and repentance. Knowing how, why, and when to repent can be quite difficult in a culture that either promotes never being wrong, or always feeling wrong. Christian repentance is a healthy combination of knowing our value as beloved children of God, while seeing opportunities for growth and learning for the future.
