Mary's Journey

Series: Journey to Christmas

Mary's Journey

November 28, 2021 | Rev. Michelle Clark

Passage: Luke 1:26-38

No doubt most of us can relate to Mary’s emotions when she found out how her life’s journey was going to change as Jesus’ mother. When we face life-changing plans, our response is often like Mary’s; we are scared, unsure, surprised, and worried. On this first Sunday of Advent we begin our “Journey to Christmas” and Rev. Michelle Clark explores how we can learn from Mary’s journey to gracefully deal with our emotions as we strive to be faithful to God. The scripture this week is Luke 1:26-38.

Series Information

As we look ahead to celebrating Christmas, we realize that the greatest journey ever taken was God’s journey to be born among us in the person of Jesus Christ. God has been so willing to do anything to come and be with us and show us that we are never alone. How can we learn about our journey, as we look at the journeys connected to the first Christmas, so that we might be more connected to God’s love, presence, and grace this Christmas season?
