Issac

Passage: Genesis 22:1-14

The story of Isaac is one of the most disturbing in scripture. We often assume that Isaac was a young boy who did not have much of a role in the story of almost being sacrificed, but in reality it seems that Isaac himself was willing to do whatever faithful deed needed to be done in order to stay connected with God and his calling in life. Although there are many disturbing parts of this tale, the faithfulness and willingness to do whatever it takes on Isaac's behalf is truly inspirational.
