The Chancel Choir and Orchestra leads this service of music and scripture as we remember the passion and sacrifice of Jesus. Music selections are by Felix Mendelssohn and include Christ, Thou Lamb Most Holy (based on J.S. Bach's chorale: Christe du Lamm Gottes), Part 2 of Christus (short passion oratorio), and O Head So Bruised and Wounded (3 movement cantata based on O Sacred Head Now Wounded).
Series Information
During this season of Lent, may we focus on how we can connect with God through prayer. Jesus taught us how to pray with the Lord’s prayer so that we would all have the tools we need during a reflective life to be connected to our creator, redeemer, and sustainer.
