Friends Work at the Table

Passage: James 2:14-26
James helps us see clearly that faith or belief in the Bible, Jesus, or any doctrine without loving and serving the world around us is useless and not a fully developed faith. When we leave God’s table, we must work to love and serve one another in the name of Christ and in Christ’s example. This is the greatest way we share Christ’s love that we have first received.
Series Information
Our faith means very little if we keep it to ourselves or only share with those who are already gathered around our table. We must invite new persons to the table and take our faith out into the world to share the nourishment of God’s amazing love with the world around us. How can we be more invitation and more mobile in the way we share our life and love with all of God’s children?
