Forgive Us as We Forgive | 11 am

Series: Forward to Prayer

Forgive Us as We Forgive | 11 am

March 12, 2023 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: Luke 6:27-37

When Jesus teaches us to pray, he intentionally connects asking for God’s forgiveness in our lives with our willingness to forgive those around us who have wronged us. Forgiveness is not an individual personal practice alone; it is a corporate and communal reality for us all. May we find ways to be as forgiving to each other as we want God to be towards us.

Series Information

During this season of Lent, may we focus on how we can connect with God through prayer. Jesus taught us how to pray with the Lord’s prayer so that we would all have the tools we need during a reflective life to be connected to our creator, redeemer, and sustainer.
