First Friday Respite Program for Special Needs Families

First Fridays is a respite program for families with special needs cihildren and their siblings, which meets on the first Friday of each month from 6:00-9:00. Each participant is matched with an approved vadult olunteer for the evening and siblings are matched with a youth volunteer. Activities are chosen for the participants ablity and interest level and include crafts, small motor toys, gym activities, a movie, etc. A meal is not provided, but famlies can bring their supper with them to eat at the church. First time participants will need to send n an application and be approved. A reservation email is sent out a couple of weeks prior to the event.
