First United Methodist Church of Arlington is a traditional, gothic structure located in the heart of Arlington. Enjoy the traditional elegance of our beautiful architecture and stunning stained-glass windows. Exchange vows in our historic Sanctuary or, for a more intimate setting, our beautiful Vandergriff Chapel. There are also a number of locations around the grounds of the church with beautiful natural lighting that will make perfect backdrops for your wedding portraits.

THE SANCTUARY
The splendor of our main worship space with its beautiful stained-glass windows will serve as the perfect backdrop for your wedding no matter how large the event. Our historic windows are the crowning glory to the magnificent and elegant architecture of the church.

VANDERGRIFF CHAPEL
For a more intimate setting, many couples choose the Vandergriff Chapel for their ceremony. Built by the Hooker T. and Charles Vandergriff family in 1965, our Chapel provides a gracious, picturesque setting for your wedding.

RECEPTION SPACES
We have several large spaces within the church capable of hosting your reception: the Great Hall, the Banquet Room, and Hagler Hall.
