Series: Journey to New Life
Work in Jesus' Name
April 25, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes
Passage: Acts 4:5-12
In this week’s message, Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes explains that sharing the love of Jesus in today’s world, much like in the time of Jesus, might make people wonder what we are up to. Pastor Hayes message centers on Acts 4:5-12 when the disciples are questioned by leaders about doing something good in Jesus’ name. We have an amazing opportunity to love people, take care of people, feed people, and pray for people in Jesus’s name, but it’s equally important that we, just the like disciples, give Jesus the credit for that love.
Rev. Molly Hayes and Betsy Spencer join in worship, as well as Sean Hale singing “Christ For The World We Sing” and “Take My Life and Let it Be” with Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg on piano.
