Series: Forward to New Life

Theophilus | 11 am

May 21, 2023 | Rev. Ramiro Rodriguez

Passage: Acts 1:1-11

Waiting is never much fun nor is it easy, and yet as God creates newness all around us, we are called to be faithful in our patience. This new patience can be a gift from God and can help us prepare for what God is doing next. Through the birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, God had already been up to a lot of new activity, but now the disciples are called to wait for God to do even more.

Series Information

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not the end of the story, it is the beginning of new life for us all. Living the Easter story and being people of new life and new beginnings is a key component of the Christian life.
