Seeing With Humility

Series: Blurred Vision: Seeing Clearly in a Uncertain World

Seeing With Humility

July 05, 2020 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: James 4:1-10

On this 4th of July weekend and Communion Sunday, Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes preaches "Seeing With Humility". Centered around James 4:1-10, in this passage we explore how when we humble ourselves before God, we are lifted to a place where we see God’s ways and experience and share God’s love more clearly.

Joining him in worship is Rev. Molly Hayes, Lead Pastor at Good Shepherd UMC, Michelle Clark, Director of Caring & Serving Ministries at FUMCA, and Sharla Martin, FUMCA member. Sean Hale, Director of Music and Worship is accompanied by Evelyn Busby, harp, Arthur Busby, violin, and Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg, piano, in music including "My Country 'Tis of Thee", "America the Beautiful", "Let Us Love One Another", and "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling".
