Series: Journey to the Cross
Praise God
March 28, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes
Passage: Mark 14:1-6
On our journey of life and faith we must look for opportunities to praise God and give God thanks for walking alongside us through all experiences of life. In our scripture today, it was hard for people to understand why someone was using so much time and money to praise Jesus, and yet Jesus told the disciples it was exactly what needed to be done. How can we take time and energy out of our daily lives to make sure we are giving God our very best and praising God along the journey?
Join us for worship this Palm Sunday as we enter the last week of our Lenten journey to the cross. The message, "Praise God", delivered by Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes centers around Mark 14:1-6.
Joining him in worship is Rev. Molly Hayes and Allie Johnson. In music, our children's choir performs "Hymn of Promise" and "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna", accompanied by Mallory Menard, Wesley Allen, Linda Youssefzadeh, and Sue Mattlage. Sean Hale sings "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna" accompanied by Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg.
