In Jesus’ ministry here on Earth, he is known for giving people second chances and new leases on life. Peter who had denied and forsaken Jesus during his trials is given a new chance to profess his faith and allegiance to Jesus. This grace-filled gift is offered to us all no matter what we have done or not done in our past.
