Series: Journey to the Cross
Maundy Thursday | Serve Like God
April 01, 2021 | Rev. Molly Hayes
Passage: John 13:1-17
Join us for worship this Maundy Thursday as we remember how Jesus humbled himself to wash the feet of those he loved, and likewise, we are called to humble ourselves to serve and care for one another. Serving and loving one another is at the core of what it means to be like Jesus. If we want to follow Jesus and journey through life more like him, we must take time to serve our sisters and brothers.
Today's service is led by Rev. Molly Hayes and Rev. Ramiro Rodriguez, with the message, "Serve Like God" centered around John 13:1-17. Center 313 performs "Cornerstone", "Communion", and "Come Sit With Me".
We invite you to have a few things ready for worship, as we celebrate Holy Communion and remember the washing of feet: a candle, bread/crackers, juice/wine/water, a bowl of water, a towel, and lotion.
Series Information
Just as Jesus journeyed to the cross, we too journey through pain, suffering, and loss. Join us on a Lenten journey as we find God’s grace, comfort, healing, and presence even as we “walk through the valley of the shadow of death”. -Psalm 23
