Series: Seeing God in Times Like These
Get Lost
September 06, 2020 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes
Passage: 1 Kings 19:1-19
How open are you to getting lost? Scripture and faith teach us that often the detours of life bring us closest to God and ultimately help us take great strides along our journey. This week as we worship and celebrate Holy Communion together, Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes looks at this idea through the context of 1 Kings 19:1-19, in this week's message, "Get Lost".
Joining him in worship today are Rev. Molly Hayes, Lead Pastor at Good Shepherd UMC, Cindy Norris, and Allie Johnson, and the Breakfast Club class. In music, Sean Hale, Director of Music & Worship sings "My Hope is Built" and "Be Not Afraid", accompanied by Arthur Busby on violin, and Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg on piano & organ.
