Follow God

Series: Journey to the Cross

Follow God

February 28, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: Mark 8:31-38

Following God and being a disciple of Jesus Christ is not the easy way of life. Following means following to the cross, following to pain, following Jesus way by self-sacrificing our wants and ways. The journey of Lent is often about a journey to humility and following God instead of ourselves. Join Rev. Dr. Chris Hayes for this week's message, "Follow God", centered around Mark 8:31-38.

Joining him in worship is Rev. Molly Hayes, Rev. Kay Lancaster, and Troop 517. In music, Ariel Hernandez sings "I Surrender All", and Arthur Busby performs "Amazing Grace", accompanied by Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg.
