Despite Our Timing: Christmas Happens Anyway

November 29, 2020 | Rev. Molly Hayes

Passage: Mark 13:24-27

Join us for worship this first Sunday in Advent, as we begin a new series, "Anyway in a Manger". During Advent, we prepare our hearts and minds and world for God who comes again to live among us in Jesus Christ in a way we would never expect. This week's message, "Despite our Timing: Christmas Happens Anyway", delivered by Pastor Molly centers around Mark 13:24-27.

Joining Pastor Molly in worship is Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes and Betsy Spencer. The Advent candle of hope is lit by Harold and Lynda Sherrieb. In music, Sean Hale sings "Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus" and "The Cradle Carol", accompanied by Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg.

Series Information

It’s been a weird year. Family traditions and church traditions may not look the same as they always have. It may feel like Christmas just can’t or won’t happen this year. Yet, we’re reminded through the story of that first Christmas that it happens anyway.
