Abide in Christ

Series: Journey to New Life

Abide in Christ

May 02, 2021 | Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes

Passage: John 15:1-8

Join us this Communion Sunday for worship as Rev. Dr. Chris J. Hayes challenges us to connect to God each day as we journey to new life. His message, “Abide in Christ” is centered on John 15:1-8 and reminds us that as our source of strength and love, God is a part of us through Christ and we must work to stay connected. The promise as we continue this journey is that when we remain in connection with Christ, we are not traveling alone.

Rev. Molly Hayes and Rev. Kay Lancaster also lead worship, with Sean Hale singing "Abide with Me” and “I Need Thee Every Hour” and Dr. Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg on piano.

We want to stay in connection with you and there are several ways to do that. Come & Go Communion is today in the sanctuary from 3:00–4:00 pm.

We'd like to know how we can pray for your this week and welcome your prayer requests at arlingtonmethodist.org/prayer

We are also thankful for your continued support of our ministries! Send online gifts to arlingtonmethodist.org/give
