FUMC of Arlington

At First United Methodist Church of Arlington, our belief in the importance of God’s grace and service to our neighbors is reflected in our mission statement:

Come worship. Stay learn. Go serve.

The United Methodist Church is an 11-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens doors and opens minds through active engagement with our world. As United Methodists, we emphasize not only believing, but also living out those beliefs—putting our faith and love into action.

At First United Methodist Church of Arlington, we put our faith into action through our ongoing mission projects.

Because of God’s love for us, we offer our lives back to God through a life of service. Our faith always includes a social dimension. Our love of God is always linked to love of neighbor and to a passionate commitment to seeking out justice and renewal in the world.

Because of God’s love for us, we offer our lives back to God through a life of service.
