Summer 2012

Jr. High Mission Trip (Current 6th–8th Grade)

This year we are making a return trip to Waco, TX where we will be working with several organizations to make a real difference in their community.

Dates for 2012 are June 10–14. We will be staying at Austin Avenue UMC, working during the day, playing in the evening and worshiping God through small groups at night.  I hope you can join us on this life giving trip.  More information will be available here as the year goes on. The cost for Jr. High Mission Trip will be $150 and scholarships are available.  (Adult Sponsors attend for free)

Youth and adult sponsors can register online by clicking here.

Sr. High Mission Trip (Current 9th–12th Grade)

We all remember the devastation the spring storms of 2011 brought to parts of the country—mass flooding and tornadoes that destroyed hundreds of homes. The recovery process for disasters like this take years.  It is our goal to plan a trip to an affected area and help rebuild and bring hope to some who were affected during our Sr. High Mission Trip.  (It is possible we will be helping with another recovery effort from previous storms.)  The dates for this trip are June 24–30, 2012 and I hope you can join us.  More information will be available here as the year goes on. The cost for Sr. High Mission will be $195 and scholarships are available. (Adult Sponsors attend for free)

Youth Week!

Youth Week is a week filled with fun events and service towards the end of the summer.  It is designed to be a week of fun and to bring back all the youth together again as we approach the school year. We had a great time at youth week in 2011 playing whirlyball, laser tag, broomball, rock climbing, and Where's Waldo.  More information and registration will be available in Summer 2012.

Volunteer

Don't forget to volunteer for all the awesome Children's Ministry events.  We will let you know more and provide an opportunity for you to register in May.
