First Friday Respite Program for Special Needs Families

First Fridays is a respite program for families with special needs children and their siblings. On the first Friday of each month, we offer supervised care from 6:00-9:00 pm which includes play in the gym, quieter spaces for small motor activities, crafts, movie, etc. We adapt the activities to each participant's needs. Each participant has an approved adult volunteer assigned to them. Siblings have a youth volunteer matched to them. Application approval is required before attending the first time,. Spaces are filled each month on a first come basis after invitations are sent a few weeks before the event. Spaces available are determined by the number of volunteers available.
