FUMC of Arlington

At First United Methodist Church of Arlington we seek to create an environment where youth can grow in their faith and in community with one another. Our goal is to create a space where youth from different ages, races, and backgrounds can come together and explore their faith in a loving and grace filled environment.

Our Sunday morning program offers youth a different variety of subjects to learn about starting at 9:30am in the Underground. On Sunday Nights we have a snack supper and small groups led by a team of dedicated volunteers and ending with a youth led worship.

On Wednesday Night youth are invite to the Underground for a more intimate time of fun and fellowship. Pizza is provided followed by a time of discussion on thinking theologically about issues in the world today.

Other youth opportunities include our Testament Youth Choir that helps to lead worship in our 8:15 Traditional Service every Sunday. The Testament Youth Choir practices on Sunday Nights from 4 to 5:15pm. Every Summer members of our youth choir participate in our Annual Choir Tour where our youth travel to different locations through out the US singing at retirement communities and nursing homes.
