Children's Music
Our children’s choir program incorporates a variety of sacred and traditional Christian music and hymns to introduce worship through music.
Participation in choir develops qualities of discipleship, service and building relationships with peers. Musically, young singers are provided a variety of learning experiences that will equip them with the skill, interest and desire to use their voices to praise God. For more information, contact Cindy Salter, director of children's music.
WHO CAN JOIN?
All children from K-6th grade are invited to join.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Children’s choir members rehearse weekly during the school year and participate 2–3 times each semester in both the Sanctuary and Celebration worship services by presenting prepared anthems. Children’s choirs also sing during the Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday worship services.
HOW TO JOIN
Registration is free and may be done in the church office at the start of the school year or at the Children’s Choir Kickoff on September 16. Contact Cindy Salter, director of children's music, for sign up information for each children’s choir.
