Children learn Bible lessons from the Cokesbury "Exploring Faith" curriculum, sing music, create art projects and have snacks.

Sensational Journey: K-5

Sundays

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Sensational Journey is a collection of different learning environments to make sure that every child, kindergarten through 5th grade, receives the very best foundational experience possible to foster their lifelong journey with God.

Each room has a unique decor, furniture, layout and purpose, intended to facilitate a variety of learning styles. Over a period of 4 to 5 weeks, children will rotate into new environments as their senses are awakened to the same biblical passage in a new way. At the end of the 4 to 5 week rotation, a new journey will begin and a new passage, or story, will be explored.

Kindergarten through Fifth Grade will meet in one of the Sensational Journey rooms:

Confirmation Class: 6th grade

A full-year confirmation class is offered for 6th graders with a confirmation ceremony in May. Beginning in September, students learn and explore a variety of topics including church history, Methodist faith, other denominations scripture and more. In addition, they enjoy Fellowship opportunities, mission projects and a year-end retreat prior to confirmation in May.
